My name is Greg Ford. And, as you can imagine, I often get the question why am I involved in a website that is all about wigs for females.

Well I been affiliated with Consumers Info USA since 1999. Their ultimate goal is to provide people with information they need that helps them resolved a problem, achieve a goal, benefits their lives in some way, etc. etc.

I started in the real estate division. I was a real estate agent for many years with Century-21 and got involved with Consumers Info USA in creating e book guides that showed people how to buy their first home, how to sell your home, how to fix your credit so you can get approved for a home loan, etc.

So how did I start thinking about lace wigs? A girlfriend, of course! She won’t like it at all if I use terms like “high maintenance” to describe her. And she honestly was not. But lets just say she was the kind of girl who was always ready to have her picture taken at anytime. Hair, makeup, nails, feet, etc were always done.

And she was one of those girls who like to totally change her look from time to time. I, and most guys I know, will have no complaints with that. She kept things interesting.

So she would do the weaves, extensions, micro braids, regular wigs, etc. And when she started experimenting with lace wigs I didn’t pay any more attention than usual, at first. And then I notice there was a difference. She is a pretty girl and when she got her hair done with extensions, weaves, etc. she would really look good. But when she had on a lace wig… she really looked like a totally different person.

We lived together and I sometimes would take her to the hairstylist appointment and then pick her up afterward. I remember one time she was standing outside with a group of other people and I honestly did not know it was her. I sat in the car for like 20 minutes waiting for her to come out the building, and she was standing out there the whole time. She said she wanted to see how long it would take me to notice, which I really never did until she walked over and opened the door.

Long story short. I’d be with her when she couldn’t find the lace wig style she wanted at the beauty supply or wig stores. I’d watched as she surf around on the internet trying to find out more information about lace wigs. And I remember when she began learning how to trim the lace, apply the adhesives, and fit on the lace wigs herself at home. I saw how mad she got when she messed up a couple of them. And I experienced, first hand, how a lace wig would totally transform her and enhance her natural beauty.

So I realized that wigs are a huge industry all across the country. Women are still learning about lace front wigs, and full lace wigs. It’s still kind of new to them and the interest is continually growing. They look absolutely beautiful in them. And there is a great need for information about lace wigs.
